At an ordinary hourly rate of BZD $10.00, four qualifying weekday-overtime hours are estimated at $60.00. The calculated overtime hourly rate is $15.00.
When the 1.5× rate applies
For workers covered by section 118 of the Labour Act, qualifying work over nine hours in a day or forty-five hours in a week, Sunday/rest-day work, and ordinary public-holiday work is paid at not less than one and one-half times the ordinary rate.
When the 2× rate applies
Christmas Day, Good Friday, and Easter Monday carry the special rate of not less than double the ordinary rate for qualifying work.
